I haven’t posted anything to this blog in a while now, for various reasons. I’ve started working on a novel, I’ve been playing in some play-by-post games, I’ve been drawing, I’ve had all of these other creative outlets for when I wanted to make something. I’d apologize about the lack of content, but I don’t think I actually have regular readers, so it’s all good.
That said, I’m back at school now, and my good friend Brett is running a Pathfinder game using the new Freeport Companion that he got from Kickstarter a while ago. On Saturday the adventures of our merry band of pirates begin. At the moment (people keep changing their characters at the last minute, so any of this might be wrong) the party consists of a gnome ranger with an armed and armored ape companion, a human witch doctor who thinks he’s an orc, an oracle who rolls deep with a pack of ghosts, a barbarian with a collection of absurdly large weapons, a paladin who is probably in the wrong company and a bard. And, of course, the estimable Carlos Thorne, a man with a gun up his sleeve and a smile on his face.
I’m quite looking forward to introducing him to the others.
